It use to mean something to tell your children they could grow up and become President. Now we need more; we need the next George Washington.  We have been educating ourselves and becoming active for our children and grand children’s sake but have we given them the tools and foundation to keep the light of liberty burning.

We believe it is through education, a deep knowledge of our American heritage, and a foundation of faith, is the only way that liberty will survive and thrive.  Sadly, there has been a void in education and understanding plaguing recent generations of Americans pertaining to the fundamentals and principles on which our country was founded. Without teaching and laying this foundation of liberty in our youth today, we are in danger of condemning the next generation to face tyranny tomorrow.

KY 9/12 proudly announces a brand new and exciting program “Vacation Liberty School” for children, ages 10-15.  Experience the origin, nature and benefits of liberty based on Faith, Hope and Charity. Dates for the initial program in Georgetown will be July 12th to 16th from 6:00 to 8:30pm at Gano Baptist Church, 212 Bevins Lane, Georgetown, KY  40324. There is no cost to attend but we will accept donations to help cover cost of materials..

At a Vacation Liberty School your children will be sent on daily journey back to the founding of our nation and learn the truth about our history and the impact faith had on both the founding fathers and the foundation of our country.

·                     Learn the role of Faith in the Revolutionary War and discover the Black Robe Brigade

·                     See how faith influenced Samuel Adams and other founding fathers

·                     Learn the story of the Constitutional Convention

·                     Understand what “equal justice” means

·                     Realize through activities the balance between liberty and tyranny.

Your children will grow into a deeper understanding of who we are as a nation and where we came from. This will help your children understand where we came from. Understand where we went wrong. Understand where the fork in the road was, and which path we should have taken. This is sure to fundamentally change your child’s grasp of history, and lay a foundation for the next George Washington to emerge in the future.
